Discusses the interpretative and discursive strategy of negationists, based on their reading of the ‘Gerstein report’, of the diaries of Rudolf H?ss, of the diary of Johann Paul Kremer (a doctor in Auschwitz), and of testimonies of survivors. States that negationism operates on two levels: creating doubt about the historical evidence of the Holocaust, and formulating the hypothesis that it was a Zionist invention. The former is presented in pseudo-scientific texts, which present information such as numerical data, graphics, and photographs. The formulation that the Holocaust is an invention of the Zionists is presented without any evidence, making it difficult for official historiography to demonstrate its falsehood.
